I’m thrilled to announce an exciting moment for One Grumpy Sailor, a passion-driven small business that’s been carving its unique niche in the world of woodworking, steampunk lamps, and laser-engraved wonders. On April 3, 2024, our very own one-man operation will be featured on the PBS show, “Eye on the Arts”, a platform known for shining a light on the vibrant and diverse talents within the art community.

For those who’ve been following the journey of One Grumpy Sailor, you know that each piece I create is more than just an item; it’s a story of dedication, craftsmanship, and a deep love for the art of creation. From the intricately designed woodworking projects to the imaginative steampunk lamps, and the precision of laser-engraved products, every creation is a testament to the passion and skill that drives this venture.

From the PBS website, Eye on the Arts showcases a diverse range of local artists, artistic organizations, events and stories, demonstrating the power of arts in people’s lives, and how art and culture improve the quality of lives for residents throughout Northwest Indiana.
